MY STORY
I became interested in pottery while visiting a friend whose mother owned a pottery studio and shop in Ireland in when I was around 10 years old. Later when I started university, I enrolled in pottery evening classes in Waterford, Ireland, where I learned the basics of wheel throwing, hand-building, and slab-building. After university when I moved to London, I took classes in Bethnal Green further growing my love of pottery.

After a long break, I returned to pottery in June 2021, initially at Crown Works Pottery, followed by classes at Studio Pottery London and Surrey Adult Education pottery studio. In 2022 I created a home studio allowing me to complete my MA in 2024 and run my beloved Pottery Club and Workshops.

I designed and built the interior of my studio making all the furniture including a marine pump sink and equipment such as a potters wheel, slab roller, extruder and kiln.

While studying a Master of Arts in Ceramics at UCA Farnham which I completed in 2024, graduated from in 2025, I participated in the Surrey Hills Arts programme at Farnham Heathland (image below).

I have recently been shortlisted as an Artist in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2026 - results due at the end of May.
